Triple A of Idaho says its survey shows nearly three out of four car seats are not properly installed.
Where are parents or grandparents going wrong?
Here are some of the top misuses:
• Using a rear-center seating position when not permitted by the manufacturer.
• Using the wrong belt path with the car seat attachments.
And get this, the survey also says that parents are using all types of everyday items to secure their child's car seat including bungee cords and plywood to zip ties and shoe laces.
