If you’ve always wanted to be part of the Olympics, then don’t miss out on a big event schedule for Boise this Wednesday evening.
It’s the WALK TO LONDON!
Everyone is invited here to celebrate Olympic spirit and international sport in Idaho. You can do so by participating in two events being held in downtown Boise on Wednesday: the Walk to London 2012, and the 2012 Exergy Tour ladies pro bike race official team presentation and Olympic celebration.
Both events are free and open to the public.
Walk to London 2012 events are organized and led by the Olympians and Paralympians who make up the 20 national Olympian Alumni Chapters.
The 1.13-mile Boise walk will start on the Greenbelt at 13th street and finish in the Boise Grove Plaza as part of a large Olympic celebration ,including the official team presentation event for the inaugural 2012 Exergy Tour.
Walk to London
The Walk to London goes fro from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23. The event starts at St. Luke’s Shoreline Facility at 5:45 p.m. and goes along the Boise River Greenbelt. The finish takes place in Boise Grove Plaza around 6 p.m and includes recognition of past and future Olympians on stage, and also a transition to the 2012 Exergy Tour Team Presentation
2012 Exergy Team Presentation
The 2012 Exergy Team Presentation will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. pm Wednesday, May 23 at the Boise Grove Plaza.
