Olympic Gold medal winner Kristin Armstrong is doing what she loves today (April 12th, 2012).
No, it’s not her training for another run at the Olympics in London. Instead, today Kristin is out in our community showing people the right way to live!
Kristin will be at White Pine Elementary in Boise encouraging kids and adults to get moving.
At 2:15 in the afternoon, you will find her fully engaged in an event sponsored by Fuel Up to Play 60. It’s an NFL and Idaho Dairy Council funded program to fight childhood obesity and to educate kids about healthy eating.
She will be doing more than just talking, Kristin is set to have a whole lot of fun!
On the schedule: Students will race teachers on tricycles, have a yogurt taste test, pin the tail on the cow, stack milk bottles and see who can do the most burpees.
If you want to see it all in action, just head on over to White Pine Elementary at 401 E. Linden Street.
