What makes me happy? Just a phone call from one of my kids.
I saw a segment on the Today Show last month that dealt with the ups and downs of being a mom. The bottom line: If our kids are happy we are happy!
I've heard from the boys quite a bit lately. One call came in Saturday night before Mothers Day. That son was riding a ridge on horseback and said it was so beautiful he wanted to tell me about it.
The other son called on Sunday and started the chat with what every momma wants to hear,"I love ya mom!"
They sound happy with their lives, that makes me happy with mine.
