Vandals are excited about this one!
Jerry Kramer, the University's first football All-American is now marking another first for the school.
This morning Kramer will be on the first flight of the new Vandal painted Horizon Airline's plane.
The school is pulling out the welcome mat for their football favorite. The Vandal marching band and cheerleaders are coming out for this special passenger.
I'm sure you might remember the story behind the story leading up to Idaho getting its logo on a Horizon plane.
It might have even kicked off another rivalry between the in-state school. We could dub this one "The Flying Fight ."
About a year ago Idaho's Athletic Director was scheduled to get on a Horizon jet earlier, but Rob Spear refused when he saw it had the blue and orange BSU logo on it. He said he would only get on if Horizon painted a plane for his Vandals.
That was then, this is now and come 10:49 a.m. PT/11:49 a.m. MT. the Vandals will tie the score in this new rivalry when their beloved silver and gold logo touches down at the Pullman-Moscow airport.
We'll be there and send some pictures back, so check back at KTVB.Com.
