My friend Muffy Davis is making a name for herself at the Paralympics in London.

Those who know her from her downhill racing days will be glad to hear she's on track to medal in her latest Paralympic sport: Handcycling.

Here's her email today:

"Carolyn, Just wanted to update you on my Gold medal win in yesterday's Time Trial. It was a terrific race and I ended up winning by more than 2 minutes! Idaho has strong female Time Trailers. Two more races, Friday and Saturday so keep those "Golden Thoughts" coming! Thanks for your friendship and support. Muffy"

Isn't she awesome!

Muffy won medals in mono-skiing during the 1998 games in Nagano, Japan and during the 2002 games in Salt Lake City.

Now she's taking on handcycling in the summer Paralympics, one of 17 cycling athletes to compete under Team USA.

I asked her to keep sending emails...I'll keep you posted.
