I know I've been on hiatus from my blog. There is a reason for my temporary departure. I just didn't find anything interesting to blog about with you. But, now I'm back and at least I think I have some good ideas again.
First up...recognition for a hometown girl who won a major journalism award. She happens to sit right next to me here at the station.
Producer extraordinaire Char Jackson made front page news in her hometown paper. The Buhl Herald reported on her latest award, an Emmy for best morning newscast!
Char so deserves this award. She's one of those people who always watches your back. She works diligently to make sure her show scripts are accurate, interesting and for me, "easy to read"!
I consider her "exceptional" at her job, but more than anything I consider her a true friend.
Someday she says she would like to be my personal assistant...yea, like when the cows come home. Oh, maybe they do in Buhl, a place that Char visits often and still calls home!
