If you are wondering why Nishi Gupta isn’t on the air anymore at KTVB, she’s moved on, but thank goodness she's not getting out of TV.
Nishi has landed a job at the Toronto affiliate of Global TV, a national network in Canada. That’s a big move and a big deal for Nishi. She gets to go back and live and report in her native country.
Nishi deserves the chance to work on a larger stage. During her tenure with us, she was the consummate journalist. Always asking why, and digging deep for the truth.
Our news director told Nishi on her departure day, “We will miss your presence in our newsroom." All of us who have had a chance to work with this classy lady, would agree with that statement.
So while we will miss everything about you Nishi, we wish great success as you tackle this next step in your journalism career.
