Hey, this is an early call to come out and watch the unexpected. On Wed. July 7th at 2 p.m. I will be rappelling off of the Hampton Inn in downtown Boise to support the Idaho Special Olympics.
The event is called "Over The Edge" and they aren't kidding. They will hook me up, 14-stories high, and I will go over the edge of the roof with ropes and I hope a lot of help!
Scary, you betcha...but so was the infamous Zip Line ride at the Olympics. Yes, I have a tremendous fear of heights, but I have found facing that fear on camera is a real confidence booster. Just ask our chief photographer Gary Salzman. He knows I almost passed out stepping off of the platform for the Zip Line ride, now he's joining me for this adventure.
By the way, do you have a boss who is scared of heights? If so, this event allows you to TOSS YOUR BOSS! Check out this link and get others in your office to donate for the cause.
So, we ask you to come out and support us, from the street level of course. But, more importantly do what you can to support the Idaho Special Olympics, it does great things for people with intellectual disabilities.
Can't wait to see you as I look down from 14-stories up...yikes!!
Carolyn
