I really want to get the word out about some free health screenings for people who don't have insurance.
It's happening Thursday, Nov 1st from 4pm-7pm at the CATCH office on Americana Blvd. in Boise.
ISU-Meridian and Ada County are doing all of this, and they told me on the News at Noon that they want to see ANYONE who doesn't have insurance right now.
Services include:
● Basic physical exams, blood pressure checks, foot exams and medication reviews
● Dental evaluations
● Hearing, depression and alcohol screenings and questionnaires
● On-site testing for blood sugar levels and HIV status
● Flu shots
● Mammogram referrals
● Nutrition assessment and recommendations
● Health education
