Although I haven't been very consistent in my blogging lately, those who do follow my blog may remember my mouse situation a while ago.
Well guess what...we've got another one.
I have been very fortunate that these critters have been spotted only in the garage. That's where I saw "IT"on Saturday. I not only saw it, I screamed at the sight of the dark colored thing racing across the garage floor.Yes, I'm still a city girl who freezes at the sight of snakes, some spiders and any mouse.
Luckily for me, my dear friend who grew up on a farm and has helped me set traps before was by my side on this latest sighting.
We were prepared!
I found the two mousetraps my husband had bought and she (not me) went to work with her foolproof catch-a-mouse plan.
She put just a tiny bit of peanut butter inside the trap, set it where the mouse was last seen and waited!
Fast forward to Sunday...We got it!
As I drove into the garage I saw the snapped trap with you know what inside. I was relieved. But I felt even better knowing my friend would return to remove it and remind me she'd be back when I needed her mouse trapping skills again!
