BOISE -- Last week the NCAA announced it would be taking up the mandatory contrasting uniform colors at home rule.
This means, the Broncos would not be allowed to wear their all blue uniforms on the blue turf.
The Mountain West Conference Commissioner Craig Thompson sent a strongly written letter to the NCAA for re-consideration.
Back in 2011, the Mountain West itself would not allow Boise State to wear their all blue uniforms on the blue turf during conference games. That rule was lifted as part of the new agreement with the Mountain West Conference.
