Description
Billy Winn went in to the NFL Combine last month with some pretty high expectations. NFL.com gave him the best pre-combine rating out of the seven Boise State players in attendance, barely grading him out of the first round. But in Indianapolis, Winn failed to really impress NFL scouts. Hoping to run a sub-5.0 in the 40, Winn clocked in at exactly 5.0 seconds. He only put up 24 reps on the bench press, and was pretty much average in everything else.
While his ability to play three different positions across the defensive line will make him an attractive option on draft day, Boise State's Pro Day will be one last chance for Winn to provide the "wow factor" for NFL scouts.
