Boise State softball pitcher Aubray Zell was named Mountain West Conference Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday. This is the second straight week that the senior has been honored.
Zell's best outing of the week came on Sunday when she only allowed one run to Notre Dame in a complete game performance. She held the Fighting Irish batters hitless through the third inning, and only gave up five hits after that.
Zell has only issued two walks to the last 232 batters that she has faced, dating back to last season.
BSU will next face Cal State Northridge on Thursday at the Cathedral City Classic.
