NFL Combine Number: DL25
Pre-Combine Grade: 60.1 (Should become instant starter)
What they're saying:
"A loose, explosive, long-limbed athlete, Lawrence consistently pressurizes the edge and harasses quarterbacks. His pass-rushing ability rates among the best in this year’s class, and he holds mass appeal. Lacks ideal stoutness at the point of attack, but could thrive as a 4-3 right end or 3-4 rush linebacker, and should contribute readily on passing downs."

Q: How is the NFL combine going?
A: "It's going pretty good. Very tiring. It's a lot of work."
Q: Are you also going to do linebacker drills?
A: "I'm going to try and do some linebacker drills."
Q: Do you feel like you can play linebacker?
A: "I really think I'm versatile enough to play either way."
Q: Who was the best guy you played against in college?
A: "Probably Derek Carr as Fresno."
Q: What about on the line?
A: "I played against a pretty good tackle against Nevada."
Q: What do you think about your former college teammate Charles Leno, Jr.?
A: "He's very long. He has great footwork also. He would throw me different types of sets, different types of hand moves. It was very good going against him everyday."
Q: How did you wind up at Boise State?
A: "It was a long process. Leaving high school I went to junior college in Kansas, so I was already used to being away from home. I just made it out to Boise."
Q: Was it a difficult adjustment for you at all?
A: "I had to make a couple of adjustments, but it wasn't nothing major. I'm used to being in a house playing video games all day anyways.
Q: Is there a player in the NFL you model your game after?
A: "I like Demarcus Ware's game."
