BOISE -- Boise State wide receiver Thomas Sperbeck is the school's new all-time leader in career receiving yards.

Sperbeck entered Thursday's game with 3,030 career receiving yards, just 33 yards shy of Titus Young's school record.

Sperbeck passed the previous mark with a 20-yard reception in the first quarter against BYU. It was his third reception of the game.

The senior also caught a 12-yard touchdown pass to put the Broncos up 14-0 in the first quarter. It was his seventh touchdown of the season, which is one short of his career high set as a junior last season.
