BOISE -- The Boise State football program announced the kickoff times for two more games during the 2017 season on Wednesday.
For the first time since 2013, the Broncos will play an early afternoon game at home when they host Troy in the season-opener on Sept. 2. The game will kickoff at 1:45 p.m. MT at Albertsons Stadium.
The following week Boise State will travel to Pullman to play Washington State. The Broncos and Cougars will kickoff at 8:30 p.m. MT and the game will air on either ESPN, ESPN2, or ESPNU.
Boise State has now announced the kick times for nine of the 12 games on the 2017 schedule. Three of the six home games are all set to kickoff at or before 6 p.m. MT. The other three have yet to be announced.
“We have half our kick times for 2017 home games already set, and none start later than 6 p.m.,” Boise State Director of Athletics Curt Apsey said. “Game times are obviously something we have been hearing a lot about from our fans, so I am hopeful that we will see a packed stadium starting with Troy to kick off the season.”
