BOISE -- Let the smack talking begin!
With just weeks until the official start of college football season, the Boise State football team is taking a break from regular practices to have a little fun.
Last year, the Bronco offense beat the defense 5-3 in what some call a "fluke" game.
Prior to the first pitch at 6:30 p.m., four players from each team will participate in a home run derby, with the top two players advancing to the finals.
Gates open at 5 p.m. at Hawks Memorial Stadium in Garden City. Tickets are $5 and kids 12 & under are free.
After the game, the players will sign autographs on the field for all fans in attendance.
