BOISE, Idaho — The Boise State Broncos (7-5), who are currently ranked 3rd in the Mountain West, will head to Tucson, Ariz. in December to compete in the Barstool Arizona Bowl against Central Michigan University (8-4), who are currently ranked 1st in the Mid-American Conference.

The game will take place on Friday, Dec. 31 at 12 p.m. It will not be televised and will only be available via live stream.

Certified by the National Collegiate Athletic Association, the Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl has been held at the Arizona Stadium each year since 2015.

Boise State did not qualify for the Mountain West Championship after the loss against San Diego State.

This will be the first time the Broncos have attended the Arizona Bowl. Boise State did not attend the conference game against San Jose State in November 2020 due to a rise in COVID-19 cases.
