BOISE-- The Boise Hawks continued their offensive hot streak on Monday, combining for 15 hits in an 11-6 win over the Eugene Emeralds at home. The win follows a 17-3 blowout over Eugene on Sunday.

Eugene was the first to get on the board in the third inning when River Stevens singled in a run. But Boise responded in the bottom half of the inning. The Hawks got two runs on small ball, then Danny Canela hit a three-run homerun to take a 5-1 lead.

Boise got another run in the fourth, four more in the fifth, and one more in the sixth to secure the win.

Canela finished the night 3-for-3, with a homer and four RBI. Bryant Flete was 3-for-4 at the plate.

Boise will host Eugene again on Tuesday night, before setting off on a nearly two week road trip.
