PORTLAND, Ore. -- Two people were stabbed on a Greyhound bus and a suspect taken into custody late Wednesday night, according to the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office.

The pair who were stabbed suffered non-life-threatening wounds and were taken to a hospital.

Robert Moran Vasquez was accused of attempted murder, second-degree assault and reckless endangerment. He was booked into the Multnomah Count jail about 11 hours after the incident.

Investigators interviewed more than 25 passengers, deputies said.

A TriMet bus took the other passengers to the Troutdale Policing Community Center. They were eventually put on another Greyhound bus and transported to the next stop in The Dalles.
