BOISE - The last piece of a multi-year construction project has begun near Lucky Peak Reservoir.
Contractors working for the Idaho Department of Fish and Game are installing specially made wildlife guards to help deer and elk cross State Highway 21 between Lucky Peak Reservoir and the Wilderness Ranch area.
During construction, Spring Shores Road will be reduced to one lane with flaggers regulating traffic -- except on the weekends.
Construction will continue through May first.
