One local high school is doing its part to give back and spread the holiday spirit.
Rocky Mountain High School's student body has been gathering supplies for the past two weeks to make Thanksgiving baskets to give to families in need.
So far they've collected 20 baskets. Their goal is 50.
Students say the response has been great.
"We have canned cranberries, vegetables, fruits, boxes of stuffing, potatoes, so we have like pie crusts, pie filling, desserts, it's loaded with stuff," said junior Courtney Beard.
The baskets will be available for families to pick up at the school this Friday.
