JEROME COUNTY - The remains found earlier this month in Jerome County are those of a woman who went missing in 2015, authorities said Monday.
Jerome County sheriff's Sgt. Chad Kingsland said the remains found in a rural area in the eastern part of the county on November 8 have been identified as belonging to Tiffani Streling. The identification was made last week with the help of the Ada County Coroner's Office.
Streling went missing out of Cassia County in 2015 when she was 21 years old.
Kingsland said a cause of death hasn't been determined, and that the Jerome and Cassia County sheriff's offices are conducting a joint investigation.
