Earlier this year the City of Boise acquired a 20-acre site on North Cole Road during a land swap with a developer.

Now, they are ready to gather public input for the Spaulding Ranch Master Plan.

Boise Parks and Recreation is inviting neighbors and others to attend an open house at Capital High School tonight. The meeting runs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will be held in the school’s cafeteria.

Spaulding Ranch is a historically significant site and the city is looking at ways to preserve outbuildings on the property and craft a plan for future public use.

If you cannot attend the open house, you can fill out an online survey, or email comments to Jennifer Tomlinson, at jtomlinson@cityofboise.org or call (208) 608-7637.

Once a master plan for the Spaulding Ranch is drafted it will be brought to the Boise City Council for approval.
