Say hello to STRAY #4 – Bruno! This somewhat vertically challenged, long-eared, melancholy-looking gent is a 4-year-old Basset Hound who arrived at the shelter as an owner-surrender and frankly speaking, Bruno may need some work on his housetraining. Consistency is the key, and we’ll provide you with some pointers to work on at home.

But that doesn’t detract from Bruno’s elemental characteristics, including those that give him one of the most amazing noses in the dog world. He’s a hound who can sniff out fun and frolic at any distance, and is ready to enjoy the company of other dogs, cats, kids, and even small animals like rabbits!

Bruno loves to roll his long body over for belly rubs and during shelter exercise time, he walked like a perfect gentleman on his leash. This guy will definitely make your commitment to him worthwhile. Who couldn’t love a face like Bruno’s?!?!

Come meet Bruno (#37271363) at the Idaho Humane Society, 4775 Dorman St. The shelter is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week.
