Clure was not wearing a life vest. His empty boat was found Monday.

The death comes less than a month after a 28-year-old man from Caldwell drowned at Lake Lowell. The sheriff's office urged residents to practice safety around the areas lakes and rivers.

"The Sheriff's Office would like to remind citizens to always wear a life vest when they are near the water and while swimming or boating on Idaho's waterways," the sheriff's office wrote in a release.
