Westbound Interstate 84 back open after semi truck crashes near Mountain Home

ELMORE COUNTY — UPDATE: As of around 4:35 p.m., Idaho State Police said the westbound lanes of i-84 were back open. The Elmore County Sheriff's Office is the primary investigator.

Idaho State Police are asking drivers on Interstate 84 heading toward Mountain Home to be careful as troopers investigate a semi truck crash.

The semi is flipped across the westbound lanes near milepost 81, about nine miles west of Mountain Home. ISP said vehicles are still being allowed to pass through on the shoulder.

ISP is telling drivers to expect delays.
