Even during winter months, The STIL ice cream shop is the place to be

The STIL in downtown Boise aims to cure your ice cream cravings while giving you a unique experience.

During the winter months, you're probably thinking about soup or chili for dinner and hot chocolate all day. With the mild temperatures we've been having this winter so far, a local ice cream shop called The STIL is seeing customers flow through their doors non-stop.

The STIL stands for "The Sweetest Thing In Life" and is owned by Kasey Allen and Dan Sell. They just celebrated their 6 month anniversary. Allen says so far they've experienced more support than they ever could have imagined.

At first, opening The STIL was a joke between Allen and Sell, but then they realized the valley didn't have that unique ice cream shop and they really wanted to fill that void.

The STIL offers non-dairy and vegan options as well as creative flavors like Idaho Wilderness which has berries and lavender. There's also flavors like First Date which is salted caramel and Weekend Getaway which is cookie butter crumble. New to the store are ice cream sandwiches.

For those 21 and older, here are two words for you: "Booze Infused". Yes, that's right, alcohol-infused ice cream. There are a couple different choices, Purple Rain which is a raspberry cabernet sorbet or Ed & Carl take Reno which is honey bourbon.

You can also order a flight that includes four micro cups for ice cream and four small glasses for whatever wine or beer that pairs well with the ice cream flavors you choose taking a girl's night out to the next level.

The STIL is located right next to the movie theater in downtown Boise at 786 W. Broad Street.
