It’s time to create a new holiday tradition by running or walking together. ‘Tis the season for bells, holiday costumes, carolers and Santa!

The 34th annual Christmas Run presented by Saint Alphonsus will be held on Saturday, Dec. 23 in downtown Boise.

The race starts and finishes in front of Boise High School.

The annual Christmas Costume Contest will be held at 9:30 am on the Boise High steps.

All ages are encouraged to participate in the event. There are three courses to choose from.

The 1 Mile Reindeer Dash starts at 10 a.m.

The 2 Mile Run and 6 Mile Run both get underway at 10:15 a.m.

Racers can pick up their packet on Friday, Dec. 22 from 3 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Cathedral of the Rockies located at 717 N. 11th Street in Boise.

Day of race packet pick up will be available starting at 8:30 a.m. in the Boise High School Quad near the starting line.

To create a team come up with a fun name and share it with 10 of your closest family and friends. Select the Team Registration option when registering and then enter your team name when registering. Each person on the team must register individually.
