A rollover crash in Canyon County has taken the life of a child.
The child was a passenger in a pickup driven by Martha Booth, 65, of Parma.
Idaho State Police say Booth was driving northbound on Notus Road Saturday afternoon when the pickup went off the left shoulder. Police say Booth overcorrected and rolled off of Notus Road near Red Top Road.
The child was thrown from the pickup and died at the scene. Booth was flown to Saint Alphonsus in Boise, where she was listed in critical condition Sunday afternoon.
Police say neither Booth nor the child, whose name has not been released, was wearing a seat belt.
