Idaho State Police say a Boise woman is dead after running across Interstate 84. Dispatch says it happened around 10:10 p.m. on Friday.
ISP says the woman - identified late Saturday as 44-year-old Michele J. Stevenson - ran from the median to the right shoulder on westbound I-84 near the Locust Grove overpass.
Dispatch says she was hit by a car driven by Tawny Taylor, who is 26 years old. Taylor was driving a Kia Optima.
Investigators are still trying to determine why Stevenson was running across the interstate.
ISP says no other cars were involved.
