BOISE -- A 28-year-old woman died in the hospital after a rollover wreck on Interstate 84 Tuesday afternoon.

Ada County Coroner Dotti Owens identified the victim as Felisha Attao Camacho of Boise.

According to the coroner's office, Camacho was driving west in Elmore County at about 1:13 p.m. when she apparently lost control of her car. The vehicle went off the left shoulder and rolled, ending up in the eastbound lanes of I-84.

Camacho was thrown from the vehicle as it rolled. She was rushed to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, but died of her injuries.

The crash sparked a series of wrecks on the eastbound side of the interstate, involving a total of five vehicles. Multiple people were injured in those crashes as well. KTVB has reached out to Idaho State Police for more information.

The crashes shut down the eastbound interstate for at least two hours as troopers worked.

Toxicology tests are pending in Camacho's case, the coroner said.
