BOISE -- Get ready, skiers and snowboarders!

Bogus Basin announced its terrain park will be open this weekend, Dec. 2 - 3. The park, designed for advanced skiers and boarders, will be located on Pepsi Gold Rush Tubing Hill.

Bogus officials say the mountain has been using portable fan guns since Monday to make snow on the hill, and finally have enough coverage to open. The terrain park features two lines with rails and boxes, as well as a new 560 foot conveyer lift.

“We are as excited as everyone about opening, and our snowmaking has given us this great opportunity for our pass holders and others,” Bogus Basin General Manager Brad Wilson said.

Entry to the terrain park is free for season pass holders, and $10 for everyone else. Tickets can be purchased at the tubing hill office on the mountain.

The park will be open Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call 208-332-5162 on Saturday, and 208-332-5350 on Sunday.
