208 Redial: Remembering the simpler times of 2000, when a paper airplane took off from the Idaho Statehouse

It may not have involved broken doors, chants, and yelling during a pandemic, but the flight of the KTVB NC-7 from the statehouse in 2000 was just as thrilling.

BOISE, Idaho — It definitely wasn't a normal Monday down at the Idaho Statehouse when massive crowds packed the building for a special session of the Idaho legislature.

KTVB had several reporters at the statehouse on Monday as the special session convened for the first time. For a detailed analysis and explanation of the situation, read more here.

However, this is The 208, so for about three minutes of escapism, we dialed it back to 2000 when KTVB's John Miller scaled the statehouse to launched what is now dubbed the KTVB NC-7. 

The NC-7's flight was one for the archives.
