Idaho State and Lewis-Clark name new college presidents

Kevin Satterlee and Cynthia Pemberton have been hired by two Idaho colleges to serve as their next president.

BOISE -- Idaho State University and Lewis-Clark State College announced Thursday the hiring of two new presidents.

Current Boise State University Chief Operating Officer, Vice President and Special Counsel Kevin Satterlee has been named ISU's next president.

Satterlee was selected from a pool of 72 applicants.

He will replace retiring President Arthur Vailas, who has served 12 years as the school's president.

And Cynthia Pemberton was announced as the new president of Lewis-Clark State College.

Pemberton was the Vice President for Academic Affairs at Colorado Mesa College.

She will replace current President Tony Fernandez, who will retire at the end of June.
