BOISE — Police charged a Utah man with marijuana trafficking after a traffic stop on I-84, south of Boise, Friday afternoon.
According to the Ada County Sheriff's Office, about two pounds of marijuana, eight ounces of hash oil, a liquid concentrate form of THC found in marijuana, and a pound of dried marijuana resin, known as Kief, were found in the trunk of the car.
Fifty-one-year-old Navor Bustos was pulled over for turn signal violations near the Eisenman Road exit on I-84.
During the traffic stop, Bustos told police that he had a handgun with him. While searching him, police found a syringe in his pocket.
After finding the syringe, a K-9 drug-sniffing dog found the drugs in Bustos' trunk.
Bustos was booked into the Ada County Jail and charged with marijuana trafficking, that carries up to 15 years in prison.
