BOISE -- Idaho State Police are looking for a man who shot at a car on Monday during a road-rage incident.

Police said they investigated a report of shots fired at around 11:50 a.m.

A man was eastbound on Interstate 84 near the Orchard Street exit in a Nissan Sentra when police said he became involved in a road-rage incident with a man in a white Ford pickup.

There was an interaction between the two men, then police said the pickup's driver pulled out what appeared to be a black handgun and shot two to three times at the car.

The car received minor damage. No one inside was hurt.

Police said the shooter continued driving east.

The suspect is described as white and 25 to 35 years old, with slight facial hair. He was wearing a black ball cap that was backwards and a dark shirt.

The pickup is a Ford Super Duty crew cab with black wheels.

Anyone with information is about the driver or the pickup is asked to call ISP dispatch at 846-7550.
