BOISE -- A Boise man is in custody after police say he pulled a handgun on another person during a fight Saturday morning.

The incident happened just after midnight at a business in the 600 block of Vista Avenue.

Police say 36-year-old Jerilee Luckinbill and the victim had been involved in an "altercation" when Luckinbill got a handgun out of his vehicle and pointed it at the victim.

Several witnesses at the business pointed Luckinbill out to officers as the suspect. When the officers tried to take him into custody, police say, he resisted but was ultimately arrested.

Luckinbill was booked into the Ada County Jail on felony charges of aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, as well as a misdemeanor count of resisting and obstructing.

He is due to appear in court Monday afternoon.
