BOISE - Police have released more details after a shots fired report in West Boise on Wednesday led to a man being taken to a hospital.

Details have been scarce in the incident that happened in the area of Wesley Drive and Milwaukee Street, but information released by Boise police on Friday offered a clearer picture of what happened.

Police said that evidence indicates that two bail bond agents were attempting to revoke a man's bond and take him into custody at around 11:17 p.m.

As the bond agents were trying to arrest the man, he fled in his vehicle and struck one of the bondsmen. Evidence indicates that the bondsman discharged his firearm, but it's not believed that anyone was injured by gunshots.
