ONTARIO - One man is in critical condition after Ontario police found him collapsed on a sidewalk with multiple stab wounds.
Officers responded just after 8:30 a.m. Sunday to a report of a 43-year-old man on a sidewalk in the 500 block of SE 5th Avenue, near Lanterman-Kiwanis Park.
The man was transported to Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Ontario and was later flown to a Boise hospital where he is currently listed in critical condition.
Officials say they haven't arrested anyone in connection to the incident at this time. The Ontario Police Department is investigating the crime with the assistance of Oregon State Police, Malheur County Sheriff's Office and the Boise Police Department.
