NAMPA - A woman reported that she woke up to find a man in her bedroom after forcing his way into her home in October, and now Nampa police are asking for the public's help to identify the suspect.
Police released a sketch of the man Thursday.
He reportedly forced his way into a home in the 1000 block of Holly Street between 6 a.m. and 6:10 a.m. October 30.
After the woman woke up to find the man in her bedroom, he fled without harming her.
However, police said the case is being investigated as a possible sex offense because of things the intruder said to the woman.
“This sketch will hopefully encourage people to call who think they might recognize the suspect,” Lt. Eric Skoglund said. “It often takes a tip from someone in the community for police to solve these types of crimes.”
