NAMPA - Police are investigating a report of an armed robbery at a bakery in Nampa.

Police said the robbery was reported around 5:26 p.m. Friday at the Nueva Vida Bakery at 1424 2nd St. S.

A man wielding a meat cleaver threatened a female employee and demanded money

Police said the man got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He fled on foot toward the railroad tracks - in the area of 1st Street South or Front Street.

The suspect is described as white, with a skinny build and about 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was wearing an Air Force jacket, dark glasses and a beanie cap. He had a black scarf on his face.

No one was injured.
