BOISE- Authorities say a man upset with the court system tried to crash a car into the courthouse in downtown Boise.
It happened just after 10 a.m. at the Ada County Courthouse on West Front Street.
A spokesman with the Ada County Sheriff's Office says 37-year-old Jonathan Joseph Locksmith made it onto the courthouse plaza in the car, spinning it around in a "doughnut" before landing it in a fountain.
No injuries were reported.
Locksmith was arrested on a misdemeanor reckless driving charge and booked into the Ada County Jail. He is expected to make his first court appearance on Monday.
The sheriff's office says Locksmith told a passerby that he was upset with the court system and wanted to be arrested to go back to jail. Court records show he was charged earlier this fall with misdemeanor battery.
