MALHEUR COUNTY - A Boise resident and a Garden City resident were killed Sunday when Oregon State Police said a California man crashed into their vehicle.
The crash was reported at around 5:30 p.m. on U.S. 95 near milepost 92 - about 30 miles north of the Nevada border.
Oregon State Police said the preliminary investigation revealed that a 2000 Toyota Tundra driven by Brandon Fuller, 45, of Livermore, Calif., was northbound on Highway 95 when Fuller crossed the center line and crashed into a Chevrolet Trail Blazer heading south.
The Trail Blazer's driver, Luis. M. Salas Ramirez, 35, of Garden City and passenger Parrish W. Speegle, 49, of Boise, died at the scene.

The left rear passenger, 42-year-old William K. Speegle of Boise suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported by air ambulance to a Boise hospital.
Fuller had minor injuries and was arrested at the scene. He was charged with assault III, reckless driving, driving under the influence of intoxicants and two counts of manslaughter II.
OSP said alcohol consumption by Fuller is being considered a contributing factor in the crash.
Highway 95 was closed for more than six hours.
OSP was assisted by the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office, Humboldt County Fire and Rescue, the Malheur County Sheriff's Office, Jordan Valley Ambulance, and the Oregon Department of Transportation.
