Tailgate appetizer, get your heat on!
Sleeping bag Jalapenos
1 pound spicy ground sausage
1 8oz package cream cheese
1 cup mozzarella cheese 15 to 20 jalapenos halved and seeded
In a large saute pan on a medium high heat, cook the sausage until there is no pink left. Add the cream cheese and mozzarella cheese and cook, stirring constantly for about five minutes.
Stuff each jalapeno half with one table spoon of sausage mix. Place stuffed Jalapeno on a grill and cook for about 15 minutes on indirect heat. You can also bake them on a cookie sheet at 375 for 20 minutes.
