BOISE -- Boise State will host the 2017 Mountain West Football Championship game, thanks to several algorithms and computer rankings.

The Broncos (9-3, 7-1) will face Fresno State for the second week in a row and have a chance to avenge their 28-17 regular-season finale loss against the Bulldogs.

The decision comes after averaging the rankings of both teams via four computer polls (Billingsley, Colley Matrix, Anderson & Hester and Wolfe).

The Broncos finished just above Fresno State with a 30.25 average ranking, the Bulldogs with a 34.25 average.

Fresno State (9-3, 7-1) has played in three of the last five Mountain West Championship games.

Boise State last won the Mountain West Championship in 2014, beating Fresno State 28-14 on the Blue.
