If you love Starbucks, then this new Happy Hour expansion will make your day. Starbucks is opening up many of their espresso drinks and iced teas to their daily Happy Hour from 3 P.M. till closing.
However, there is a catch. It is an invite only opportunity.
Yes, even those people in the Starbucks Rewards program have the same chances as us mere mortals to score a deluxe Happy Hour menu. The invite will come via e-mail and anyone can vie for it by signing up at www.starbucks.com/happyhour. Participants who will receive the invites via e-mail or the Starbucks mobile app get half off any espresso beverage during the Happy Hour.
Matt Ryan, chief strategy officer for Starbucks, said in a statement, "With nearly 100 million customers in our stores every week, we’re looking for more opportunities to engage directly and personally, providing them with special benefits and offers that are meaningful."
