Groundhog Day is the time the nation turns its attention to a rodent to learn if there will be more winter conditions or an early spring. At Zoo Boise "Boise Bill" the prairie dog and distant relative of Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow while Phil did see his. That means the eastern part of the country will have 6 more weeks of winter while we will have an early spring. You can see Bill's exhibit area for yourself at Zoo Boise for free tomorrow (Saturday). There is no charge to attend so bring the entire family with the zoo open from 10 am to 5 pm and the last admission of the at 4:30 pm.
