George H.W. Bush is mourning the death of his wife alongside thousands.

The former president and his daughter, Dorothy, greeted those wishing to pay their respects at a public viewing for his late wife, Barbara Bush, at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church in Houston, Texas, on Friday. The church's doors opened to the public at noon local time, and were to remain open until midnight. The former first lady's funeral is set to take place on Saturday.

Barbara's casket was transported to the church early Friday morning, traveling just a few blocks away from the home she shared with her husband since 1992. Visitors honored Barbara, who died on Tuesday at 92 years old, by wearing pearls as they lined up at a nearby church to undergo security screening before being taken to St. Martin's.

Expected at the funeral tomorrow are Bill and Hillary Clinton, Barack and Michelle Obama, and Barbara's son, George W. Bush, and his wife, Laura. President Donald Trump is not expected to attend, but his wife, Melania, is set to arrive as a representative of the White House. Barbara's son, Jeb Bush, her friend, Susan Baker, and historian Jon Meacham will deliver eulogies.
